I completed this 24×36 painting “Three Painters at the Dumoine” recently in the studio. It was a wonderful way to recall last August’s CPAWS-OV DRAW retreat at the Dumoine watershed. I used a number of images I took of three painters working at the Grand Chutes bridge over the Dumoine River.
Painting this image recalled the roar of the river to me. It’s almost a deafening sound.
You can hear it in this video I took standing on the bridge.
It was an honour to work in such a beautiful place with so many other talented artists.
