Here are two more commissioned landscape and portrait paintings I finished this fall. They were gifts a woman gave to her parents at Christmas.
Rawdon, Quebec is where the woman’s father grew up. She and her family recently went there to visit it again. The woman, a very good photographer, took the photo I worked from. The father opened the gift and said, “I can smell the pine.”
Cathy Riding Antigua is done from a photograph taken of the woman’s mother when she was young. She was an accomplished rider. When she opened the gift, she exclaimed, “That looks just like Antigua!”
